“You don’t need a title to be a leader. Real leadership starts with self-awareness — with the courage to expand who you are, so you can serve others better. Conscious leadership is not about power; it’s about presence, integrity, and purpose.”

— Alfred B. Ford

2. Our Name

While the name ‘Alfred Ford’ has been a significant part of the school’s identity, the Alfred Ford School of Management operates as an entirely independent legal entity, separate from Alfred Ford (Ambarisha Das). The name serves as a source of inspiration, reflecting the values and example of Alfred Ford as a proponent of conscious leadership and ethical business practices.

The school has never had — and will not have — any material or managerial ties to Alfred Ford, his family, or his legacy. This independence preserves the integrity and autonomy of our education, while remaining true to the principles that define our mission.

As a conscious leadership and entrepreneurship school, we operate as a non-profit organization, committed to sustaining our mission for the long term. This structure ensures that all decisions prioritize educational integrity and the development of conscious leaders, rather than financial gain.
We are a non-profit school, ensuring that education always serves people and purpose — never profit.

Conscious leadership is not about power; it’s about presence, integrity, and purpose.Conscious leadership is not about power; it’s about presence, integrity, and purpose.
